Impact to Court Operations at Devonshire Courthouse

Due to flooding in the building, court matters at the Devonshire courthouse, 3380 Devonshire Ave., Halifax, will proceed by videoconference or telephone today (Tuesday, July 28, 2026). If you have a matter scheduled at Devonshire today, please contact the Scheduling Office at 902-424-6213 for further instructions. Please note that the Court Administration Office is still accepting filings, but all walk-in services for family law programming are cancelled for today. Further updates on court operations at the Devonshire courthouse will be shared as they become available.
