Port Hawkesbury Paper LP appeals the decision of the Nova Scotia Energy Board that declined to confirm it would not be responsible for the repayment of any costs associated with Nova Scotia Power Incorporated’s $500 million regulatory asset as part of the tolls, rates, and charges Port Hawkesbury Paper pays to Nova Scotia Power.
This appeal hearing is scheduled for one day, starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. It will be heard by a three-member panel comprised of Justice David P.S. Farrar, Justice Joel E. Fichaud, and Justice Elizabeth Van den Eynden.
