Like most court files, most court dockets are public records. The Nova Scotia Courts have gone a step further, where possible, and posted the dockets for most Courts online. The only dockets not made public are those related to Wellness Court Programs, like the Mental Health Court and Domestic Violence Court. 

Please note that the dockets for the Provincial Court are currently not available online, but are available by email every morning. To subscribe for this service, please send an email to communications@courts.ns.ca.

The Provincial Court dockets are also posted in the courthouses. Likewise, hard copies of the Youth Court dockets are posted daily but typically display initials only due to publication restrictions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act and Nova Scotia’s Youth Justice Act. While every effort will be made to keep dockets current, they may be subject to change without notice.
