Solemnization of Marriage License Regulations

Solemnization of Marriage Act

Citation
1. These regulations may be cited as the Solemnization of Marriage License Regulations .

Expiration of marriage license
2. A marriage license shall expire 1 year from the date on which it is issued, unless a marriage is performed as authorized in the license.

Amendment of Form A
3. Form A in the Schedule to the Act is amended by adding the following sentence at the end of the form:

This license expires 1 year from the date entered above, unless a marriage is performed as authorized.
